Bugger me, that is brilliant! I have stuffed 3 pairs of pants over the years. If only they made one for the 110/County doors.

Please add a pair for me, too guys.
Just makes plain sense.
If J.C. is after some, send care of him will be fine. I think he might be a good central locn. for a Tasie drop.
Please, let us know price and how to pay.

This bracket was standard on a County

My modified County had these fitted- just some Aluminium angle- does the same job & possibly strengthens the shock loading in the process.

I've sent Simonr (X-Eng) a PM on LR4X4 to make him aware of this thread.
I'm also happy to look after WA orders, (extra freight from here to the eastern states might be a killer).
Cheers,

Do you blokes all have fat bums or something? :p
In six years, I have never snagged anything on the latch.
Before anyone asks, no, I didn't achieve that by following the suggestion I saw on this forum when the issue was discussed previously.

Please note I'm in WA, (Perth), so if you are not able to pick the items up extra freight will apply.

The catch on my 88 County looks very much like the pics on the x-eng website. It looks well aged too, so it's been around for a while. I was wondering why everyone else was having so many problems getting hung up while I was fine. More proof that the County was the pinnacle of landy engineering :D

Not me! Im skinny as. I think it is people who have the seat all the way back and don't / can't open the door all the way.

In six years, I have never snagged anything on the latch.
I've yet to snag any clothing however the seatbelt has suffered from getting caught in the latch a few times.
The angle bracket from the County looks like a good solution - might look into that mod in the future.

Not sure but they are excellent if they are. One of the first things recovered from the 110 before I traded it. Tore 4 pairs jeans before changing and never had another problem.
Will be re-fitting them to the 130 on the weekend.
