Evening All
The facelift Freelander 1 has an option for Long Range Driving Light kit (VUB500870). They are pods that fit on the bumper and stick out below the headlights.
They can be seen fitted here:
Freelander Fog lights or driving lights etc - Land Rover Zone (http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/freelander-fog-lights-driving-lights-etc-159614.html)
My question is, as they protrude from the front bumper, are they road legal in NSW? Or do they fall foul of these regs:
Vehicle standards and specifications (http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/regonewsandinfo/vehiclestandards.html)
I have never seen a Freelander with pods fitted in NSW, so would be good to know if they are legit before drilling holes in the bumper.
