Hi, just trying to nut out how I can keep one set of off road tyres for my P38 and the County V8 I will soon be picking up.

A mate has already suggested redrilling the hubs and another theorised that d2 hubs may actually bolt straight up. The D2 version i(f possible) could also help provide a Disc upgrade I think.

Has anyone done something similar?

Any ideas/comments appreciated.

The d2 uses a unit bearing hub and bears no relation to any Defender setup.

You can buy adaptors for the Defender hubs to fit d2 wheels, and vice-versa, but I am not sure technically they are legal here.

Scorll down this link they have every possible combination. They make top quality stuff.

With out spending $1000 on Bearmach wheel adaptors, how do I get my P38 off road wheels/tyres onto my County? Don't really want to buy another lot of rims/rubber... Is there any other way?

Not really, you'll have to have adapters as the county hubs are too big to even be re-drilled. Even then i am 99% sure its not legal to have adapters in AUS

As indicated above, the hubs are too different for any solution except adapters, and these are illegal for on-road use in Australia, apart from being expensive.
