Sequence 2776xxxxx is a Standard LWB 1956 Series 1 107" (probably canvas tilt vehicle)
Vehicle 277601140 had engine 170613279 sold in Sydney September 1956
Do you have access to the vehicle?

I have access to the firewall and to the chassis but the rest is scattered to the winds, and the chassis will soon be scrapped,
I am getting the firewall and want it for VET (63 swb ex mil) is there any difference to diesel/petrol firewall?
I have a new phone and it wont connect with the computer so I cant download photos (I have one of firewall, one of chassis and one of plate..)
Those details I quoted are straight from CALVIN which is why Im confused somewhat, Ive never see or heard of such an entry..

Hi Digger,
Sequence 278xxxxx"a" is a CKD Diesel 109 Cab Chasis or Cab Standard Softtop that would have had an engine sequence 2710xxxx"a".
I think CALVIN is a little confused too!
I will have a look in the Parts Manuals tomorrow for you where there is a better breakdown of sequences rather than the Australian imported vehicles in the Grenville records.
Don't remember if there is any significant differences between a Petrol or Diesel 4 cylinder firewall of that period ('63). You just need one of the type before the single wiper system and after the screwed on vent flaps.

ta bob.
this number doesnt end with "a" etc - ends with 2
and the fact it tracks up with a 'code' makes me think
that it could be correct. I thought the chassis looked long but it is
up on other gear and I honestly believe its a 109 and just my
judgement of its size is wrong!!
The two rear chassis "outrigger arms" have been cut off at some stage but I dont know the correct chassis well enough to judge changes etc..
