My son is 21 now and has fished with me since he could walk. He never ceases to amaze me by catching the biggest fish and he never seems to be trying all that hard.

Never forget the look on his face when he was about 5 and caught a 90cm flathead.

Keep him interested it is a lifelong addiction that is never to be given up

Long weekend here this weekend.
I almost decided to go and see my great mate Derby Dan,who is now Northampton Dan(just notrh of Geraldton) to do a bit of fishing.
I bailed out,its a 7 hour drive each way from here and it would have become a ****hing session anyhow;););););)
Consolation prize,Anglers Almanak says its a Black day 8.30am(VERY GOOD) tommorow,so I have packed my lite rod, tackle and bait etc and off at 5.30am to target King George Whiting over in Mandurah, land based, boat can keep resting:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
