after removing the map lights

Removing the map light panel from the roof reveals two small wires. One appears to be going to a small condensor mike behind the driver's side circular grill. (bluetooth mike) The other goes to the small black thing in the centre closest to the windscreen.
Is this the daylight sensor for the headlamps?

Secondly in the roof directly above the windscreen on both sides are circular tubes with wires running back to the loom. They look like antennas - Anyone know what sort - gps/radio/DAB radio/phone?
