I went for a run around the paddocks this morning till the fumes got me.

No floor & no exhaust is a bad combo!

Still, it's a BIG moment- the first time it's run in at least 5 years!

I'm intrigued by the way you have finished the back of the cab.

Errrrrrm... do you mean the Galvanised Jewellery i.e. the bump protection strips? I applied liberal amounts of paint stripper to remove about 4 coats of paint. Where the Gal that was serviceable I re-used as is. Where it was too rusty, I applied Wattyl Killrust Cold Galvit. I'm hoping it will fade to look like "real" Gal with time. My experience with farm gates where the welded bits are done like this tells me I've a good chance!

Buuuut, when the tray goes on, a backboard will hide most of it anyway.

I was real lucky with the corners around the tank fillers. The paint preserved the Gal nicely.

Very nice indeed, looks like a lot of hard work has gone into it up to now.
