Hi everyone,
This is my first post and as the title suggests I have a new range rover sport sdv6 that is being set up for some off road and highway trips and would be grateful for advice.
firstly i understand that i can modify a raised air intake to make it more snorkel like but i'm not sure what is needed.
secondly can anyone offer any advice on whether the side steps offer much protection for the doors and sills. (i manage to crease the doors on our previous freelander 2 when it slid into a tree stump).
Finally any advice on what would be needed for a simpson desert crossing.
PS the car has already been on the beach up at Rainbow Beach and all i can say is it makes off roading so much easier.
Thanks for any help
Andrew

Andrew, Gordon is up here in Brisbane in August I seem to recall, so worth attending his seminar - see his thread earlier re date etc

Thanks for the info about Gordon's seminar. I have put myself down to attend this. unfortunately we are heading off to birdsville and the some of the surrounding area the following week so I needed to make some decisions before this.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Send me an email and I'll answer what I can. There isn't a snorkel available for the 2012 RRS as far as I'm aware.

Cheers,

Gordon
