View Full Version : Puma heating - a lot of hot air?

OK, for whatever reason my Puma has suddenly decided it wants dual zone climate control. Blows hot air in through the left hand vents, and cold through the right. Only way to stop getting cooked is vents closed, fan off, lever to recirculation, and windows open. In sunny Townsville so I've never gone near the heater - maybe it's feeling under-appreciated? Any ideas or a trip to the dealer? Thanks.

Hi,
check the heater circulation tap is closing completely.
Its easy to find, get some one to move the heater control, and you can see it at the top of the motor on the firewall.
It should move freely and completely close. Mine is a bit faulty and stays on a bit, but that is only a problem on a few days of the year.
cheers

Thanks guys, I'll check it out tomorrow.
I guess the heating controls get a bit more of a workout in South Oz and Tassie. Hopefully a little lubrication will get all my neglected movey bits moving again. Cheers.

Hi, there is a pic of the hot water valve halfway down the page of this post - there may be more pics and info throughout the post as well
