my girlfriend is wanting to be more productive while commuting 2-3hrs to and from work everyday
she would like read and edit word documents
reads90 mentions how he does it going between PC and iPad, sounds simple and this would be the way i go however wendy is not too mac savy i doubt she would handle coverting files and loosing and formatting to well
what other options is there?
i assume she would use a memory stick to transfer files from work computer to tablet
can she email the docs her iphone than transfer files by teathering
dont want the plan to be on a plan
thanks

Hi Kelvin,
Can she not synchronise the tablet, or transfer the files by USB to the tablet from her work computer?
Connect the phone by USB tethering rather than WiFi? Its possible with my Galaxy and surely most others have this capability.
Are these possibilities?

I use an ASUS TF-101 with keyboard for uni, It has an Polaris Office built in which handles Word, Exel, Powerpoint etc. It works well with most documents that don't rely heavily on macros. The ASUS tablets also come with a great note taking app called Supernote, which I use for lecture notes.
I think it has been replaced by the ASUS Transformer Prime.
It's also good for Oziexplorer;)
