We took the plunge on Friday and got us a 2004 D2 td5 manual classic Town.
Despite having been advertised with 16' wheels it had 18's but two brand new tires.
Only 130,000k's for $17500.
Am really happy but also a bit daunted. The car looks perfect for it's age, immaculately clean inside and out. Pulled some covers of to check for wiring details and not a speck of dust or dirt. Everything looks like new.
EGR still installed but ordered a kit from the UK Friday.
A bit of oil leaking from somewhere near the transmission/ clutch housing. Clutch and all associated cylinders have been replaced at 115,000k's.
Clutch feels a bit weird compared to my Navara, more spongy, soft.
Otherwise I am really happy and looking forward to our first trips with the camper trailer. Am wiring up the controller unit, looking for roof racks and a cargo barrier.
anyways, looking forward to some nice driving and fixing and spanner sessions.
Will post photos later.:D:D:):)
