Axle upgrade ?

I have been web surfing into axle upgrades that would suit me . I am looking to install toy heads but want to keep the disco hubs etc so a complete axle swap is out . The two options I see are Cromoly CV's and custom axles to a toy head or toyota cv's in the landy knuckle .

Can anyone tell me what one would be stronger ? I want to keep the landy cv due to abs . How do disco cr CV's compare to toy CV's in either standard or CR .

We did a hilux rear and LC80 high pinion front center swap to a mates rangie housings using hilux CV's and a LH LC 60 axle and 3 x jac mac custom axles and drive flanges in 4.5 ratio. The stub axles need to be bored out slightly and new bushes made for the hilux cv's.
Worked really well and the rangie would crawl over anything , not a cheap excercise but cheaper than some of the other options.
Cheapest option would be a pair of LC80 diffs or LC rear and GQ front.
