well the trip went over very well i thought and all were happy.
for those that didn't come along on this trip, it was a casual trip with a visit to the alpaca farm, then on to o'riellys for a bit of bird feeding and a walk across the tree tops walk then on to duck creek road in dark fog for a while and a play in the black soil to exhibit how dangerous this stuff can be with grimace and josh demonstrating the correct way to negociate a black soil ski run and culminating with a late lunch at darlington park
for those that like to see damage, sorry there was none,
although josh did prove that a two and a halfton rangie is stronger than a one ton rock on the ski run.
photo's to come i hope.
thanks to all for coming along, it was nice to see all the different cars.

Yes thank-you to everyone who braved the drizzly miserable morning for this trip... it ended up a brilliant trip. On a spur of the moment thought we saw a sign for the Alpaca Farm and I realised i'd never actually stopped off so with a few hundred meters to spare before their gate, all 11 vehicles veered off for a looksee. Think the owners eyes were popping out if his head at the thought of all this extra business on a rainy day.
Next onto Oreillys for some feeding of the birds... word to the wise, $35,000 fine for bringing your own seed :p Many parrots around and a few braved their wrath although think Grant & Elliott had much the same thoughts on the matter looking at the below picture :Rolling:
Next some slip sliding muddy fun back down Duck Creek Rd through a very misty outlook; before stopping for lunch and having the sun come out and welcome us.
Here are some pics to get us started :D

I almost forgot about the ski trip we went on. I think there is video somewhere of Josh doing the slalom :D
Glad I was the first car down, it was only going to get more slippery each time
I think Josh had a wheel air born for about a meter. :)
Another a great trip.
I have been trying to do more things this year, heck it was my new years resolution to do things and go places I hadn't been. Went to four different places on Sunday. Was great!
Thanks Harry and Dave for the official trip leading and TEC, and to the members for the company.
No thanks to KFC Beaudesert for not having any pineapple to go on my works burger!
Cheers

Yep, and if we knew how to you tube we could post it.
Great trip, Nicole Jack and I had a ball. It was also a great shake down for boomer and a few faults were found that will soon be fixed thanks to being part of a great club with very helpful members.
Thanks to everyone for making it a great day for us.

My front footpath is now covered in a thick layer of dried black soil....I think about 5 kilo's of the stuff was brought back under my truck.
It was an interesting drive in the wet.
Sorry...no pictures from me
Cheers

my son and I really had a great day on Sunday , it was a very relaxing day with good company. The only down side to the day was the constant banging my from my standard rear shocks screaming in protest to every bump as they topped out due to the newly fitted 3 inch coils leaving the shocks with around 50mm of up travel .Lesson learnt.Cant wait for Emu Creek. Thanks to every one who attended on Sunday
Presto
