Hello new here and have read mixed opinions on the egr removal. As I'm lookin to modify my bus and have had an ecu upgrade from triumph spares will the egr removal help power or performance any more or am I looking to do damage by removing it. Also don't know much about the triumph spares ecu upgrade are they any good??

Power/economy improvements are minimal with the EGR removal but for the $50 kit it is worth the effort.
Coupled with cleaning out your intake manifold and the IC you will make some significant efficiency improvements and hold onto them as the EGR will no longer coat the inside of the IC with oil/soot.
TD5 goes pretty good i wouldnt waste the money on the Chip personally.

Take it off, one less thing to go wrong,no performance benefit, but it makes an interesting paperweight!

I think you will find most are happy with the ECU remap - does make a difference. I concur the EGR removal does not significantly improve performance it its own right, but less weight to lug around/simplifies donk.

Get rid of it.
No engine likes running on its own exhaust.
No performance increase but more longelivety of the motor.
Also look into a Provent,it filters out the oilmist from the crankcase blowby,another longevity rather than performance improvement.
If you are chasing performance,an ASE Intercooler and remove the centre muffler.With the ECU upgrade you will have a strong D2;););),There is locked up power in the wastegate too,gentle adjusting will lift performance heaps if it hasnt been done;););););)
Mine goes really well:cool::cool::cool::cool:
