Good morning fellow discoverians

I was going to udate the V12 navigation software in D3 and looked it up on Whereis and at $295 it seems a little steep.

Is there an alternative other than buying another GPS? I already have a Hema Navigator in the other car but the Route 66 software is pretty much the worst I have seen. After doing updates it usually goes wheels up and requires the intervention of the support staff at Hema.

I really don't want to clutter up the dash anymore than it already is with UHF, rear vision monitor, etc, there's enough distraction.

Would anyone be willing to provide a backup copy of a later version for a reasonable commission?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry but this is a No - No!!!

It will be good when car navigation is as good as the aftermarket dedicated GPS's such as Garmin.
I have both the factory one and a Garmin which is not fitted to the windsceen but down on a cup holder bracket just close to my leg. Works fine and I don't have to remove it off the windscreen when I park the car in public places.

I thought it might be a tad on the iffy side so if anyone has a version that is later than V12 that they no longer require and are willing to part with that is probably the more legal way to go.

Although I do have NavFree on the iPad and iPhone and they work reasonably well, I suppose I can hook them up when necessary.

I have a brand new V15 that has been opened to check if the disc was in the package that I didn't know I had.
How about a donation to the site & I can send it to you! ?

I would assume this is ok moderators?

Cheers.
