So I'm in the process of replacing my reverse lamp with something a little brighter, and I notice some moss growing inside the lamp case. I think I might even leave it there and check on it when the weather gets a bit more damp.

Well, it can't be Stirling Moss, it's a bit too slow for that...

Well, even though there's 13 or so of those LEDs on that bulb, it's dimmer than the regular filament bulb. I need something a bit brighter than the filament again. Thinking of wiring it up so there's two bulbs in there or something.
Or maybe just an upgrade of that reflective bit behind it would do the trick.

I reckon I can beat that,
Only found it when I went to change the sidelight for its MOT, so then decided to clean the mud out on the others.

Timbo, I use a pair of 12V 50W Halogens, from domestic lighting downlights.
Nice and SHINY out the back when reversing;)
They have a pair of connector tips on the back, just connect up with bullet type female connectors. You do need to do a little "modding" of the mounts to fit them, but on my old bitsa S3, mods don't look too out of place.
