I've been through there on the Trans Alpine but in warmer weather. I'd like to do it in winter.

Same place, even the same type of whether, just didn’t snow as heavy, unfortunately!

That is nothing, look for snow clearing in the Canadian Rockies or European Alps- that is real snow and alot of the times the snow banks as high as the train. Hitting snow banks like that would be like hitting a sand hill of same size. In the rockies and Alps they have special snow clearing trains, and they can often get covered in an avalanche.
