Went to Rays Outdoors (Nunawading) the other day. It seems that since the Supacrap group bought them they don't feel the need to actually sell camping stuff anymore! I reckon 75% of the space was allocated to clothing and footwear. With BBQ's and the like taking up probably 1/3 of the remaining area there's not much left for camping stuff.
I went there to buy some water proofing stuff for my tent. Oh no, we don't carry that anymore, try BCF which as we all know is also owned by supacrap!
I said when Supacrap took them over that it would be the end of Rays and it seems I was right.

Hope there's someone else out there who'll give the camping/outdoors market a go.

Last time I was in a Rays store (Camperdown, Sydney), before supercheap buy-out the majority of the store was clothing, hats, boots etc. so that hasn't changed much, Regards Frank.
