Hi guys, as the name says, I just pulled the plugs on my 94 disco 3.9 duel fuel. It had Denso W14EXR-U plugs(only had the car for a few months) its missing cold now ,did not last month. Has any body used these plugs before? Or can recomend a readilly available plug. Yes I have searched here and on line but nothing about these plugs for lpg.I also looked at the bosch WR7DC+ plugs as well , but no joy.
Thanks Jason

W14EXR-U are too hot a heat range for gas. W20EXR-U would be far better. NGK equivalent is BPR6ES, both cross reference to Bosch WR7DC+. In all cases gap them to 0.7mm/0.028" and set the timing to 10 degrees BTDC at idle at least.

Thanks for that. I had been looking for the bosch wr7dc+ you mentioned in another post but had no luck with them in stock. Brp6es ,I have a few old ones about from motor bikes, never thaught I could use the same plug in a car. Thanks again

Ok. so I just changed the plugs to the ngk bpr6es .7 gap. straight away on start up it did not rev up as high as before, used to go to 1800rpm, now on start it went to 1300rpm and settled down to about 800 rpm in about 10 seconds. It has never idled below 1000rpm ever before. Also the motor sounded happier, it just idled much more smoothly.I will drive tomorrow and update( to many ales to legally drive) All plugs were the same as the picks ,any thaughts.
