Seeing there are so many keen Photographers in Sydney :) is there any interest in getting together and going out for a field trip, weather permitting of course?

Do you have any Venue / Location in mind Ron? Early morning perhaps to photos of sunrise near a beach?

I don't get out of bed until 0830-0900! To get to a beach by sunrise, I'd have to be up by 0400! :(

BTW, I have a "new" camera — a K7.

You should have been down yesterday, Brian, for the OTC Vets lunch. I think Khos (Disco_Owner) works at our old Head Office.

That's right Ron. I work at the old OTC building , and am still there. Congrats on your K7. Rumour is that at Photokina in september Pentax is going to announce their FF DSLR which is due for release in 2013.

Btw The early morning sunrise photoshoot was only just a suggestion , I'm open to ideas. We can Combine a Lovely bushwalk to a nice waterfall and take photos . that's another idea.

S7000 if you have ideas let us know. There is a lovely Bushwalk up Manly way which leads you to a Glorious Ocean View spot and we can set up our tripod late in afternoon to catch the colors and ambience before sunsets

Six + weeks, sounds like a good trip. Enjoy yourself and don't get lost when you run out of tracks. ;)

Khos - There's a guy coming to talk about photography at the Trax Fellowship 4WD Club meeting tomorrow (Monday 18th) evening at Pennant Hills - not far from you. Drop me a PM if you're interested in coming along and I'll give you the details.

I took this shot near Galston Gorge on a 25km return Hike yesterday. This is the sort of Trip That I had in Mind , can be done less than 6 hours return :D I had Leeches all over me and drowned my I.R remote standing in water waste Deep but the shot was well worth the Hike.;)

Ron , I realise I may be asking too much with this style of field trip. As I said , I'm open to ideas .

No Film here Scott , we're in the Digital age :p

I take all my shots in RAW+ so I can convert them to color anytime . I just prefer B&W;)
