Where do you fish near Maryborough (Qld)?

I am heading up to Maryborough soon and am after some suggestions on where to fish while I am there (no boat). Last time I went, I couldn't find a suitable spot and river access is terrible. :o Locations within say 30km.

The tuan area around Poona and Tinnanbar has lots of creeks and tracks off the cooloola coast road which can lead to some spots. Have a look at google maps and print out some areas to give you an idea of the area.

Don't forget your mozzie spray.

Remember the fish are always at that spot no one wants to struggle to get to.
