Evening all.
Bit silly really.
In a couple of weeks, ill have the Discovery back from its service, ARB steel winch bar and UHF installed, and booked in for the driving lights, snorkel and duel battery installs.
So my question is:
HOW DO I PASS THE TIME?! :p
I'm going bonkers waiting for my toy like a little kid who wants it NOW! :D
Any ideas?
Anyone need a hand with anything landrover related? :p
Cheers

Pitty you are so far away, you would be more than welcome to come around to my place and help strip out the motor and box on my Rangie...:p

My lawn needs mowing.
Or you could go to Google and put in driving simulator, find one that looks fun, and see how you go. I keep crashing... :(

I was in Orange last week, working at the Cadia mine site. If I lived in Orange and had two weeks to kill I'd spend it going somewhere warm!!!;)
I walked past the Orange ARB shop every night to get some dinner in town. They work some long hours in that workshop:eek:. Most nights they were grinding and welding as I walked in to town and still going when I walked back.

Well you're at Orange so go and gee up all your Toynissan mates about how inferior their trucks are :)
Alternatively, go and get a job as a farm hand, i never get bored when i go to work at the farm (Grenfell) there's always something going on, and sometimes the Landy doesn't move for days ........

Only one i know is the old man, and despite driving a navara now he's had two landies so i can't be that hard on him.
Going to check out the long point 4WD track tomorrow, as some mates and are i camping down by the river next weekend.
Monday and tuesday im heading out for some work with my old cadet unit so that should keep me reasonably occupied.
Assuming it stops bloody snowing

Went for a bit of a drive today, which was alright...
Doesn't help that both of the 4WD stores are on my way home....
Just want to walk in and say "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"
:D
And ThoBar what happened?!
Everything okay?

Cheers, Yes. "Spencer" is, I believe, not too bad.The very new-ish BMW 320i is not so good though! :wasntme: < -- Literally ;) People should NOT pull out in front of Defenders!
Just waiting on the beater to get parts and do the job. On the upside, Grover69 will hopefully be getting some work out of it. Custom winch bars :D
.. and to possibly misquote ... "In a Defender, the other car is your crumple zone" ... is very, very true!
No-one hurt though, so all good. It's why we have insurance after all...
