My cousin, a teacher in Darwin, sent e an E-mail regarding an on line petition regarding the recent Gonski enquiry into funding of public schools in Australia. Even though Gonski recommended more funding, the Federal Gov. has not acted on it. Those wishing to join the petition may do so here-

I think that been either produced by someone who doesn't understand a lot of things about Gonski or the process that follows.

I don't give a Gonski. Maybe kids just need to be taught in a better way and not worry about hurting their feelings by teachers using red pens to mark their work, or teachers correcting spelling errors, etc.
