Remove interior side panels D3

Hello all, I wish to mount some gear into the scalloped pocket in the side of the rear luggage area D3, I hope to bolt it to the side, not heavy but would like to get at the back of the moulded pocket piece.
I have had a good look at it and tried, is it permanently fixed or is it removable ? Don't want to remove the whole panel just the bit with the large hollow that looks to be separate from the main section on the passenger side.

On another subject fitted an external audio input to the aux. terminal of the radio (low spec) went into the rear of the radio not the foot well, took about an hour all up, very pleased with the result.

The panel is 1 piece(the whole lower section), it looks like 2 pieces but it isn't, when you remove it you will see how it's done, lots of plastic welded pop rivets.

I had a feeling that it was, used a mirror after it did not want to just "pop" off. But needed to confirm it.
