Hello,

it was the first night out clubbing for the nifty fifty "Canon 50mm f/1.8" ISO set at 800 asa.:D

All pictures were taken handheld.

Next time I will try pushing up the ISO setting one more step.

the fifty is one of the best value lenses around. Mine would have taken more photos than any other lens i own, mind you I only have 2 others and they are the standard twin lenses they give you with the camera. At 1.8 you can get some really good shallow depth of field shots.

Hello Topa,

it is really a beautiful lens, the only drawback is that when matched to a an APS-C sensor the 50mm becomes an 81mm which is a bit difficult to use in narrow spaces. I would like to try it on a full frame camera.

Other than that it is a winner.
