S2a Ambulance - Gosford NSW

A while back I spotted this old girl in Gosford in someones yard, and subsequently their house burnt down. I had cause to wander past yesterday and found it chained to a telegraph pole with a big (Ron's worst nightmare) mis-spelt sign across the windscreen.

On closer inspection, and contrary to my previous assumptions, it's in poor condition with rust and collision damage making it a big project.

Anyway, it's worth a sticky beak :D - I neglected to record the VIN/data plate details..... will try harder next time.

Dunno who the owner is, but here are the for sale sign details (verbatum)

She looks in pretty bad nick. All that rust means the door tops are probably shot... I might give him a call but I'd more likely offer $500 or something rather than $2800. May not be worth it though. I think I'll find something better up here in the tablelands where things are mostly rust free. Damned shame to see it like that though!
