Pedro, I think you are a little quick to judge.
First shot shows the spectators behing double barricades. You don't expect them to run in, do you?
Second shot from inside, shows photographers turning away as the Marshals and some others start towards the crash.
Either way, it is motorsport event and there are marshals and Emergency crews in attendance. I'D stay out of the way, too!

If this was on the street, that would be a different story!
Gawd help anyone filming a crash that I render assistance to.

It happens unfortunately. I was directly behind a car that rolled through a Give Way sign, and was t-boned at 100KPH - pretty nasty. After I had checked both vehicles (amazingly - both drivers not seriously hurt - but the driver of the car that hit the one in front of me was trapped) - I looked around to see if anyone else was helping - only to find about a dozen people with mobiles videoing and taking photos! Couldn't believe it. When the Police turned up, they soon moved them on, and it turned out that only me, and one other had actually witnessed the accident and rendered assistance - all the others had just stopped to watch - What is this society coming too...

I think its the sad side of, "it didn't happen without pictures"

But to be fair, this video will explain a few things:
