Sergio Pininfarina RIP

He was a genius, the cars that he designed are classics and a dream to have.
Tghe awesome Ferrari Testarossa and the Maserati GranTurismo are among his great designs.
From his factory also come some of the best Peugeot models like the 504 and 406 coupe.
I am like that have one of these beauties :)

I'm sure that most people will remember him for the exotic cars that were unlikely to be owned by us mere mortals.

However, lets not forget that he also designed a great many cars for ordinary folk.

Remember the A40 Farina was even named after him.

He had a hand in a lot of other BMC cars as well.

Only the body lines of the Austin were designed by the team.
The Italians designed a nice body with the A99 and the poms ruined it :D
Similar lines to the Peugeot 404 also designed by the same team but the french have done a much better job with it.

Yes, Pininfarina-designed Vanden Plas Princess 4 liter R but I am not sure which designer from the team was responsible for it. Perhaps was his father?
