I have managed to pull the coax out of my rfi cd900 antenna.

Does anyone know how to terminate the cable inside this antenna? I'm all out of googling on this one!
I may have lost some of the internal mounting hardware but I assume this can be replaced..if I knew what to replace it with.

I have done them before and are not that difficult. I'm swapping mine over to my new car and will be redoing it. I'll take some pictures of what's in it to compare with yours. I might do it tomorrow now you have prompted me. I'll let you know.

Here are a couple of pictures to see how it's done. If there are any further questions just ask. The centre core of the coax should be long enough to go up inside the end piece and press against the end to make contact to the aerial. The shield goes on the other side of the insulation disk and will clamp when screwed together.
Sorry about the picture quality as I only had my phone with me.

Thanks a lot. Seems straight forward in picutes. Showing how it clamps with the shield was the missing link for me. Just hope I haven't damaged the thread too much on the bolt the whip attaches too..
