Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the front parking sensors can be integrated into a bull bar. My local ARB outlet tells me no, but maybe there is another brand that can ? I tried searching previous posts but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere.

They can be but you need to cut into the bar which may have implications for rating but bars for other vehicles have them.

Hi Chris,

Not sure if you've got a D3 or D4, but the D4 ARB install instructions outline the fitting of parking sensors into the bar.

Check out the PDF on this page:

Thanks for that. After reading the instructions I see that it is possible to fit the sensors in the ARB bull bar. It sounds like the local ARB shop has not had much experience with the D4. That does not give me much confidence in sending my rig to them. Next question then...... Can anyone recommend an experienced installer in Geelong or Melbourne who will do the job right ? Thanks

Hi Chris,

I have a MY11 HSE with the Opposite Lock deluxe winch bar. Parking sensor holes standard from factory. ADR compliant. Sensors work fine.

Have a chat with ARB in Kilsyth. Their workshop is located within the ARB factory premesis. There are some pics of our D4 that's been recently done here...
