Airbox details?

G'day folks,

Anyone got one of these airboxes?
I'm hoping I can modify it to take my 80mm MAF I'll use on my 351? Is there enough area to enlarge the box for an 80mm opening?.....

I've got a couple, but they're in SA. I reckon you should be able to graft a VN cast ally 80mm outlet to it, they bolt through flat plastic. You would have to increase the inlet size, too.

Yeah looks like plenty of room on the front side for enlargement.
I'm not sure I could use the vn thingy you refer to because the Ford MAF has a large 4bolt flange....
It's good to know there should be enough meat to allow this MAF to fit.
I should be able to find one of these boxes locally.

I grafted a Disco outlet to a VR Commodore air box. If you get the right size outlet you could do something similar. I have the original airbox with a hole in it where the outlet come from but your a bit far away.
