A LLAMS kit for the D3/D4/RRS has been fitted to a 2008 TDV8 RR. These vehicles require longer Llams switch leads so longer leads will be fitted to all future LLAMS kits. The kit package label will be updated to include these vehicles so that the same kit is suitable for all vehicles. If anyone wants a kit before DPL have a kit indicating it is suitable for a RR with TR then please contact me via PM or email.
LLAMS has not been tested for compatibility on a RR Vogue that is fitted with the optional Adaptive Dynamics suspension feature. This feature uses a 2nd set of height sensors to monitor suspension travel for shock absorber valving adjustments.
Many pictures have been taken so that an installation document can be produced. Installation is probably easier but certainly no more difficult than for a D3/D4/RRS. The suspension ecu is below the left end of the lower glove-box on RHD vehicles, hence the need for longer switch leads.

Graeme, does the comment about Adaptive Dynamics on the Vogue also apply to the Adaptive Dynamics fitted as an option to my MY11 RRS TDV6?

I expect the adaptive dynamics fitted to the RRS to be physically identical to the RR Vogue with possibly only the ecus programmed specifically for the particular vehicles. Due to the segregation of suspension height sensor signals and adaptive dynamics height sensor signals, including each system providing their own power and earth wiring to each sensor, coupled with adaptive dynamics having to cater for off-road and access heights, I don't anticipate any incompatibilities.

A D3/D4/RRS/RR Vogue MY07+ LLAMS kit was fitted to a 2010 RR Vogue in South Africa today. The suspension ecu for 2010+ is located behind the cover in the rear right quarter panel where with the rear fuse panel is also located and is very accessible and therefore quick to install.
2013+ RR Vogue and now also the 2014 RRS use different connectors so the current LLAMS kit cannot be fitted to these vehicles but R&D is on-going.

Just a mention LLams is now also available to purchase online at the DPL store Land & Range Rover Suspension Lift Kits or Air Lift - Buy Online! (http://davisperformance.com.au/accessory/llams-height-kit.html)

LLAMS is expected to be available for these TR V2 vehicles (and expecting the D5 too as LR has announced that it will use the RRV/RRS platform) as a connector manufacturer has advised my loom manufacturer that they will design and produce a suitable mating connector. No time-frame yet for the connector availability and subsequent loom production although the loom manufacturer has requested my wiring schematic.

A kit is now fitted to a 2012 L322. 3 metre long switch leads will be provided for MY10+ vehicles to allow the switches to be fitted in the vicinity of the steering column.
Costs are expected soon for the production of a batch of looms with bespoke mating connectors (the connectors don't currently exist) for 2013+ RRV and 2014+ RRS, which hopefully will not be prohibitive then around another 6 months for delivery if proceeding.

1 step closer today with advice and pictures of 2 sample mating connectors ready to be despatched to me for evaluation.
Edit: Aug 4th - the sample mating connectors fit and work well so now another step closer.

It seems that I will have to start another thread for the L494/L405 LLAMS kits. As of tonight, I will in time have looms available to allow LLAMS to be fitted to these vehicles. Having bespoke mating connectors designed and manufactured is a first for me. I'm also expecting the D5 to use the same connectors because LR announced quite some time ago that the D5 will use the same platform and be built on the same assembly line as the current RRS and RRV.
