New Disco 4, 2 weeks till delivery

My first post...palms are sweaty.
Disco 4 3.0 L incoming so checked out this forum.
1. Mitch hitch ordered... I two a 2.5 t boat and caravan (not at the same time:D)
2. Traxide dual battery system.... Maybe
3. Tekonsha p3 or red arc remote head (bit neater unit) which one?
4. Remap the ECU.... have read so much about this... Who has one and will definitely recommend it, can the "stealers" find out and void warranty?

Living with the father in law at the moment with the mrs and 3 kids while my house gets built.... He is a Toyota man.... Bla,bla,bla reliability,bla just told him the Disco is on the way......nice to eat with silence at the dinner table. Geez I hope this disco tows better than the 200...... Can't stop smiling, can't wait to drive her..... Think I'll stop this novel now but not before I thank everyone for their informative posts I love this forum:arms:

Why not.....it could handle it!

Redarc brake controller and redarc 20amp dc dc charger work for me. Some great party tricks with the traxide I believe.

You are going to get many replies....you will just have to work out which you think is best. There will be pros and cons for all your questions.

Certainly better decision than a Toyota.....the modern Toyota is not what it once was. Toyota seems to have lost their way a bit.

I think you will find performance more than adequate....Better then a 200 diesel.
