I'm new to the forum having recently acquired a new 2012 model Defender 90. Just today, I had a new ARB bull bar, IPF lights, Warn winch, GME UHF fitted and ARB reversing camera.
The vehicle is a base model with rubber floor mat kit, electric rust proofing, OEM tow-kit, wiring for electric/hydraulic brakes (SensaBrake EVO module), X-pack paint protection and an upgraded Alpine stereo with bluetooth.
I ordered an Old Man Emu suspension kit (standard duty) and some new Recaro Cross Speed M seats for the front (to be fitted in approx 4 weeks)... The main use for LR 90 is for towing (2.5 tonne electric braked dual axle trailer with boat) together with some day to day driving, off road trips, camping trips, etc...
I am looking around to get a leather wheel and some alloy gear knobs to match (similar to the SVX style). Any ideas where I could fine something similar. I would appreciate any tips on any other 'must haves' to set it up. Thanks

Your 90 sounds great. I too have a MY12 90. I have gone with the single bar from Mulgo. Nat Luna dual battery. C box. OME tow kit. Rubber mats, and the LR Sporties. I am about to upgrade the stereo with a self powered sub winch from Mulgo. Arb compressor under drivers's seat, and Gme UHF. I am also waiting on Murray to return from his trip so I can pick up my spare wheel/Jerry carrier. My only complaint do far is the small fuel tank. I am considering two sill tanks from Mulgo. I hope you enjoy it as much as I love mine. His name is BERT. (bloody excellent rover truck)

While everyones talking about their new 90's thought I'd jump in too...
Does anyone know who/where i can get a snorkel fitted?
ARB don't have one for the 2.2 PUMA... I'm no expert but it looks like the air intake is in a very similar position, so is a different snorkel for the 2.2 as apposed to a snorkel for any other 90 even required?
ANy help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

You need to talk to a different ARB mob. I had ARB fit the Safari snorkel to my MY12 D90. I believe it is the same part number as for the 2.4 TDCi PUMA.
Check out my rig in the "Members Rides" or "Show us your Deefers".

If you are towing 2.5 tonne and don't want sag when towing or too hard suspension all other times, consider air bags for the rear springs with a spring rating comfortable for normal touring duties.
Otherwise it's a great sounding play vehicle. Enjoy your new toy.

If you want one the same as LR OME item you could order from Mantec direct. They have two different types

Agree - they are a great little truck. Pouring rain here in Brissie today and generally miserable weather ! Off to Tassie for a quick break so will get a shot when I'm back. Speaking to Techno British parts here about some small add on accessories (steering wheel, gear knobs) to dress her up.
