Hi All, Id like to get my Vogue 2003 SE 4.4 V8 computer reset.

I have inactive air suspension message and the car is stuck in normal ride height. I have tried the battery disconnect and turn wheel left then right approach as well as Catch 22 procedure that was posted to reset using the control check and odometer reset button , but to no avail. ( the Catch 22 one did not work for me as per the instructions)

So was hoping I could pay someone some cash over the weekend if i brought the car over to use their diagnostic tools and reset ?

Im based in Gippsland , so anyone in that area with a tool , or if need to drive to Melbourne I coudl do that on Sunday . Any volunteers?

Thanks in Advance.

The problem might be that someone can have a reset tool, but it is coded to a VIN. I've got the Canadian plug (IIDTool from Gap Electronics) but it is VIN coded to my car only.

Hopefully other tools don't have the same restriction.

Good luck getting it reset - I know how frustrating it is when you can't control the flaming electronics on an L322! That's what made me buy one of these tools....

I volunteer, but I'm using "INPA" which is BMW diag S/W and has cleared and tested HEAPS of stuff on my L322, I'm pretty sure it does the EAS too.
If you have any other reason to visit Melb, I'd be happy to try it, as well as show you how well it works on most systems with a $30 ebay cable......(software is widely available on the interweb)...Let me know...

Cheers,
Fraser

I'd say do yourself a favour & buy an IIDTool. Very happy with mine. Great bit of kit.

All

Just an update on the air suspension inactive error - I ended up getting it to ULR Malvern and thankfully they were able to fit the car in their busy schedule and ultimately clear faults - which were electronic faults ie can bus issues.

thankfully nothing major with the air suspension. Thanks to Fraser for the offer of using his software , as timing was an issue , i was not able to take advantage of his offer on this ocassion.

So sorry Dan, I was at work and was going to ring you, but a guy wondered in who had been severely beaten and I ended up getting him in a wheelchair, out of the cold, and called an ambulance, then the police wanted me to hang around as they thought he might not make it, so it would have been a murder investigation!
Poor bugger kept drifting in and out of conciousness, and was quite a mess.
So my afternoon was a bit more hectic than usual!

So glad it was a student free day!

Cheers,
Fraser
