Proud new owner of a D4 2.7.

Had it for a couple of weeks and just getting used to life with it.

One thing that is got me scratching my head is a light that comes on next to the ac controls that flashes "passenger airbag off" when starting the car...it then goes away after a couple of seconds. I could have sworn that this was not showing in the first week of driving.

Can any other D4 owners tell me if this is normal or not before I go annoying the dealer?

Congrats & welcom.
It is a normal light check on start up.
No need to worry.

Cheers.

If no one is in the passenger seat the airbag is disarmed.

It's normal on mine. If it stays on it is abnormal and indicates a fault from what I understand about it in the Aussie spec cars. We can't disable the airbag as can be done in the European spec cars. Had me fooled for a while also.

It's all fun & games

Took me two months before i noticed it come on at every start.

Wait until you start playing with the Terrain Response dial, that will take a while to get used to.
