Any one tried mountain loin yet? I'd like it just for its air play ability ..Gary

Yep, on the iMac and the MacBook Air. Seems to run pretty well so far.

Cheers,

Spewing, the mountain lion upgrade sux, the only reason I wanted it was
To AirPlay to the ATV ..it only works on 2010 and upward models, not happy...Gary

I thought it was 2011 models upwards  Either way I have two 2009's and did wish it worked too. My new MBPr will though:D Have a look at an app for Mac/Windows called AirParrot. It apparently will allow you to do this.

As for the upgrade I find things work a lot better than they did with Lion.

Just searched for air parrot, to air play what ML won't on my MBpro,
The reviews arent to flash, and it states that it's video only and not audio
From what I can gather....keeps the ideas comming. Gary

We're having some issues with ML - iMac has frozen a few times....and the self generated WiFi signal (from the Mac), although seen by our iPhones and Smart TV, intermittently drop out....

Both known issues - expect a fix in about a month. Might be prudent for Snow Leopards to stay put for a few more weeks. ;)

Downloaded to 1 x imac and 1 x MBP first impressions are good however both appear to drop the network connection for Mail and strangely have intermittent problems assessing the Apple.com web site. Spent 90 minutes last night talking to Apple trying to fault find and whilst we had both machines working correctly in the end they have again come up with the same problem today.

As with other comments I expect they will identify a fault and quickly correct it.

no problems here.. but not much is new either!

I could have spent that $20.99 on a six pack and a pie.

Apparently there are a lot of people complaining that its resource hungry in their ipads/iphones,etc.Batteries are going flat in record time.

Apple are looking into it,so expect a software update soon.

cheers

Strange I have had no problems at all

13" mid-2009 MBP with 8GB RAM and have never done a full re-install just upgrades from Leopard>Snow Leopard>Lion>Mountain Lion.

No speed problems, safari hasn't crashed, mail works better, full screen mode too, no wifi drop outs (I'm using a Time Capsule). Overall couldn't be happier and it is way more stable than Lion was.

Jinxed myself it would appear

Now have the Service Battery warning :(

Trouble is its a 3yo MBP and the battery has 490 charge cycles so it could be legit or it could be ML. Oh well wait and see I guess :wallbash:

I've had my first full system freeze ever.....looking forward to the updated ML...this one is flaky. Stick to Snow Leopard at least until the ML update is out...;)

On my 13" MBP the Service Battery issue looks to have gone away :) I ran the battery fully down and then recharged and all seems good.

My MBPr is having no issues at all... apart from making every other computer screen look terrible.
