Rear Main Seal

Today noticed a small amount of oil at the back of the sump thinking possible rear main seal has gone. Can anyone tell me an approx cost to have it repaired?

Diesel or Petrol -

Diesel - search 300tdi t piece. An easy in situ fix

Petrol - Investigate further as the rear main is usually pretty good. Is oil coming out the wading plug hole?
