leaky canopy

Hi all,

The canopy/roof rack on the 130 is leaky. The frame is 25mm and 32mm RHS and the roof is a couple of aluminium sheets that have bee riveted to the frame. I've re-applied sealant to the roof section where it joins with the RHS and this has helped somewhat but there are still some leaks. I've tracked them down via rust stains to small drill holes on the underside of the RHS frame. I'm not sure where/how the water gets into the RHS but surmise it is from other holes I am yet to locate.

My question - is there a way I can stop the water from getting into the RHS? without having to track down the source of water ingress? that I can do from the hole underneath?

I've thought about spraying expanding foam within the RHS but wonder whether the foam will absorb water and go moldy?

I've also thought about putting steel putty or silicone in the the holes from underneath but I'm not sure if that would work, and if I can't track down the source then the RHS will fill with water.

Any ideas/advice appreciated

My canopy does the same, mine is a fiberglass one though. It mounts to the tray with a aluminum frame, the water some how tracks down the aluminum.
