'Release' the 4 top clips. Then put a hand either side down the bottom of the grill, hold firmly, and give a sharp pull straight back towards you. First time removal is a bit stiff, comes out easier thereafter.

Using a big common screw driver to push down on the bottom clips works. The bottom clip is one that when you push in, the top edge expands to hold it in and from coming out....shaped like a barb, for want of a better description.

Release the top tabs, grab firmly and a good yank towards yourself...
Just watch out for the plastic as the edges can be quite sharp.

D3 has the same 4 tabs at the top of the grille as the D4.
The D3 has 2 tabs you push up on the outer edges of the grille whereas the D4 does not have these & you just pull away to release.
