I usually post this in the miltiary landrovers side of things as in past years a few 101 landrovers have come along on this run.
The Aust ex Military Vehicle Collectors Soc do this every year in the first or second weekend in Aug.
Numbers where OK this year, but alot of people took civie vehicles.
We shared the silent CK camp area with some LROC people.

I couldnt take my studebaker 6x6 because the fuel cost would have been near $700 dollars , so my LPG burning 101 did the rounds again.
A good friend took his Studebaker and there was 2 jeeps, a 2a landy etc.
the pics say it all.

You should have taken the Stalwart instead :).

Looks like a good weekend.

On a serious note I have though about it.
I have to buy another truck to carry the stalwart to site.

I thought it was already on Historic plates. The guy from Geelong drives his around.

Stalwart equals 0ne litre per Km and alot of wear and tear.
The Geelong Stalwart has special gearing, LPG and drive disconnects.( and the owner can afford a full time mechanic to work on it a week before hand.)

Thanks for those pics Ron. Love the Studebaker.

What's the trailer you have?

The trailer is a 1944 no4? Ford motor co jeep trailer with a high set of hood bows and canvas fitted.......I have had it for years and still have not gotten around to painting it.
It carried about a tonne of split fire wood, I was not going to get cold this year.
Being a little bit vertically changed I usually use it to sleep in.
