roof top tent

G'day, all, does anyone have a Kimberley "mycube " roof top tent, or can someone recommend a roof top tent for my D2?. Cheers, Bob

if you do a search on this forum, there's a lot of comment on RTTs... I went to the Kimberley factory in 2010 anmd had a good look at their RTT... damned expensive compared to the other offerings ... I bought something else... r-e-s-e-a-r-c-h is good!!;)

Gday Bob, we ended up buying a unit off the net, picked it up in Sunshine (Melb) for only $1500. This included a ladder extension, awning and surrounds for both the awning and entrance to the extended length tent. A good deal as we were short on funds. It's branded as an Up Top.
Having had it beside a few of the big name brands, we can't pick any real differences between them, and I suspect, for what we use it for (a couple of times a year) it will see us through for a long time.
