Hi All,
My first post!!
I have just purchased some 18" rims and I'm looking for an A/T tyre to fit. Have done some research and spoken to dealers and still seem to be confused on what tyre to get.
I was leaning towards General Grabbers 255/55/18's but then another dealer offered BF Goodrich 265/65/18 with a higher rating.
Question : Does anyone run 265/65/18 on their Range Rover Sport or D3? I'd like to know if they will rub?
Thank you
Tony

General Grabbers are around $275 each and BFGs are just under $500 each - I would be going the GGs.

Hi
The AT2 General Grabbers on my D2 are very good, Little or no wear good on & off road & feel a lot more stable when towing our 20ft van. The old tyres had to much flex in the side walls resulting in a lot of sway. Sorry but I cannot remember the previous brand but I think they were the original radials that came with the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply, they quoted BFG for $340, which has gained my interest, but I'm still wondering if the Tyre size will fit the RRS?

Width wise, they will be fine. However, you would probably want to check the overall diameter using an on-line calculator.

FWIW - The RRS can run 255/55r19 (Slightly larger diameter than normal) and for width, 275/40r20 is a standard fit.
