Trying to work out which type of snorkel to fit my D1 Tdi 300. However this plunger thing seems to be in the way. Can any one please tell me what it is. Can't find a mention of it in the manuals.

Thanks you. The alarm system sounds like it is under water! When it ... If it goes off it might give a sorrowful burp and lights flash a couple of times! Do I need it? Can't say I have seen one of these before.

You shouldnt need to move it, didnt on my tdi with safari snorkel .

Yeah same goes here. I fitted a safari snorkel to my 300 tdi disco and it was no where near it. Perhaps yours has been re-positioned??

The safari kit comes with a bracket to relocate it. I didn't have to as mine was in a different position already.

Possibly the ABS versions requires it to be moved ?
