80" hood sticks

We need to see someone who has an original 80" windscreen to the first hood stick so we can replicate it:)

OK, knowing you may have this problem and trying to help of course because you guys are great mates, I bought a '51 s1 yesterday! - at least thats why I told Nay I bought it! :D

I will need a drivers side 'stick but as I only have passenger side 'stick" here are some photos I took of that last night.

Tonight I'll unload it and take some with measurements but I have little aths meeting and working bee, auskick jnr footy, cfs training and 3 kids to deal with this morning!!!.

Can you post the length from end to end, the hole centres, the length of flat on both ends, for both front and rear bars, and tube thickness, and a drawing plan view of the angle. and when you come to visit here in Qld you can pick up your new series I bars:D:wasntme:

on checking... I lied to you, mine is a 52.. :(
I assume they dated it using the radiator stamp (10m 51) I should have checked before I shot my mouth off!

Calvin says '52.
Number is 26161127..

engine number is 26103251

Engine "possibly siezed" (either it was or wasn't??) but Ill pour some diesel
in and let it sit before I do anything.

still trying to work out what it should and shouldnt have..

its rough but very honest... Ill whack some pics in a different thread,
here are some shots of the hoodstick that may help (or not) the board is one inch squares but the rule is at times on inches and others on MM.... sorry!
the end with the bolt is windscreen end... (this is from pass side but I suspect no difference)
