Hi All,

Mulgo / Expedition Centre is now the distributor of ProSpeed Offroad products for Australia and New Zealand.

ProSpeed Offroad is arguably the manufacturer of the best looking and toughest after market products for Disco 3's and 4's. Have a look on their website Discovery 3 & 4 (http://www.prospeed-offroad.co.uk/products/discovery-3-4.html) and judge for yourself.

Based on the enquiries and firm orders we already have. We are currently putting together a larger order for the beginning of September. Add yourself to the list if you want to be part of the first order.

Going forward we plan to organise regular (based on demand) bulk shipments to keep the freight cost as low as possible.

Pricing: Freight, import tax and GST will be added to the prices published on the ProSpeed website.

Cheers,
Daniel

Would be good to see the full $AUD all inclusive pricing rather than having to guess at the conversions and additions etc.

Also needs more info on the roof racks, they look good, but it is difficult to understand or see how they're set up and what hey mean by with and without floor. Also looks like there may be some accessories such as wheel mounts but cant see any info.

Because my webmaster is currently rebuilding the website. Hopefully he finishes soon and I can add the ProSpeed stuff.

You can jack from under the slider with most of the rock-sliders supplied (my brand included). You can't safely use a jack on the side bars with any of them though. Not because of the strength of the bars, but because of distortion of the sill, which will prevent the doors from sealing properly, or in the extreme case from closing.

Cheers,

Gordon

Hello gg haggis can you please tell what awning you have attached to your expedition roof rack?

Hello all,

Olly from ProSpeed here.

Just to clarify, you can 100% jack the full weight of the vehicle on the tubular Tree Slider section of our Rock Sliders.

It took us a hell of a lot of design and testing to get to the point where they would do it with plenty of strength to spare, but they do. See attached photo.

They also do not transfer any point force to the body shell which would cause damage. Their strength is inherent in their design, and they spread the load evenly throughout the sill.

The only reason your sill would get damaged is if the sliders fitted were not rigid enough, and transmitted the point load into your sill. Ie. the sliders flexed. If they do that, then they're not doing their job properly.

Our rock sliders have two skins, and the tree sliders have a very specific shape and CNC machines bosses which locate through the rock sliders with a very tight tolerance. They're all small points, but that's what comes together to make them so strong.

On a bit of a side note, apologies for the lacking info and website, we're working on that at the moment, and will have a super-duper new website up and running soon.

We're also working hard to get our products available more easily to you guys through Mulgo Expedition Centre, and will do everything we can to make it happen.

Many thanks,

Olly
