Hi All
I'm changing my non electric cloth trim to an electric leather seat. Ive just done the passenger side. Mechanically its all in and done I believe.
What has to happen computer wise to tell the car its now got electric seats in it? is that an easy task? I'm on a steep learning curve here so words of one syllable will have maximum effect.
cheers

not sure about the computer but you also need a different centre console to allow for the switches for the elec seat to be housed in the side of the console. Or did you just cut a hole out for the switches. ;)

hi Tombie, did you find the manual seats provided more rear ward travel than the Electrics? My 6'6'' still growing son has his knees against the glove box lid with fully backed electric seats
regards, Mario

Yes I did :( You can modify the rear "stop" on the rail to enable a bit of further rearward travel.

Here's how I fixed the manual seat travel problem - pretty simple...
