Hi all

After a year of avidly following this forum, I've finally registered. The reason? After waiting months for assembly and delivery, we finally get to collect our first Land Rover (110) tomorrow! How exciting. [bigsmile]

Have driven Land Rovers extensively for work but this will be the first I have actually owned -so have lots to learn from you lot.

First question -apologies if it's been asked previously- is there anything in particular I should be checking prior taking delivery of the vehicle from the stealers? Being a current model I'll have a poke at the turbo hose clip to see if it flexes but is there anything else to look for to ensure its in top condition? Any suggestions appreciated.

Cheers

Alan

Hey Alan,

Sorry, I can't help you on the turbo hose clip or anything associated with new Defenders - but welcome! Congratulations on your new Landy.

Cheers,

John

Welcome & congratulations,
I guess you are at Robyn falls in the NT? There are are few of us on the forum from the NT.
Can't really help much on what to look for apart from the obvious checking for oil leaks and the already mentioned turbo hoses..........

Cheers

Hi Tomo,

yes, the Territory. In addition to the unkillable older Land Rovers I've noticed a growing number of new Puma's appearing in the Top End. And not just our southern compatriates coming north for the dry either - more and more Territory registered LRs. Paul the Darwin dealer (great fella incidentally) says currently four more on his order books.

I guess I'm gonna be waving like a lunatic :)

Hope to see ya around

Alan
