Power steering pump

Oh well, I need to report that at 140,000 kms, my power steering pump is whining quite loudly at me. I have the extended warranty so my fingers are crossed that it is covered. I will find out on monday....

I had this happen to mine around 30 000km. Obviously it was replaced in warranty, apparently LR got a bad batch of pumps, has to do with the brass bush going in the pump.

It was the resevoir bottle. They replaced it and flushed the system. The car feels great now except that the fuel gauge no longer goes over half way. Is it trying to tell me something?
