Hi All,

Could someone with a Discovery 2, Td5 2000 with standard wheels and suspension be able to measure the distance from: "bottom centre of the wheel rim to the centre bottom of the wheel arch? Please.

My suspension was upgraded and I forgot to measure what I had before - and it's part of a warranty.

Front Right: 745mm
Front Left: 735mm
Rear Right: 765mm
Rear Left: 755mm

Cheers

Factory measurement is hub to guard, not rim to guard,

Hub to guard for just about all Aus delivered disco2's that we measured several years ago was

Front: 485mm
Rear: 470mm for coils and SLS was 10mm either higher or lower.

They were all at the lower end of the specified range.

That makes sense, because you never know if it's going to have 16 or 18 inch wheels.

Almost spot on the lower limit in fact. RAVE lists 500mm +/-15mm for the fronts and the rears are 483mm +/-15mm (coils) or 473mm +/- 15mm (SLS).

Yeap! For warranty reasons; they need the distance from the wheel arch to the bottom of the rim.

So measure the distance from the top of your hub to the bottom of your rim and add that on to the above provided measurements.

Is that from the top of the hub or center of the hub?

From the centre.

Rave says 483 plus or minus 15mm for coils. So when were they 498mm and can you use the top measure to take the 50mm legal lift from? If I am 12mm up on that then do I only have a 12mm lift:D
